CERAMIC WORKSHOPS

Figurative Sculpture: Learn how to sculpt a figure using slab and hand-building methods. Work small exploring pose, form and texture  OR work on a larger scale in a longer workshop. You can also book a follow up workshop where you can add colour and glazes to your work

Goddess Workshop sculpt or model a small celebration or focus goddess for your temple/ritual or to associate with the wheel of the year. You can create small pocket size goddesses, one to fit in the palm of your hand or a small goddess vessel.

Sgraffito: use this traditional technique to draw, carve and create a decorated plate, bowl or beaker, using patterns & designs. Elaine will add a clear glaze and fire it for you.

Locality Vessels; Learn how to roll a slab, adding texture decoration with natural objects  before creating a beautiful vessel. Elaine will add glazes and fire it for you.

LINOPRINT, BATIK & CYANOTYPE WORKSHOPS

LINOPRINT Learn the beautiful, slow and mindful craft of Lino printing. Participants can use lino from A6 to A3 size depending experience. prices will depend on size chosen 3 hours starter session from £60 pp, Full day (6 hours) session from £110pp max group size 6. BATIK Learn or develop your skills with a workshop using this beautiful traditional Indonesian craft. We use hot wax and Tjantung to create a resist drawing on fabric and then inks and dyes to develop the pattern. ,CYANOTYPE Cyanotype harnesses the power of the UV light to create stunning prints in a rich Prussian blue, or Turquoise. During the workshop you will explore different ways to use the process on paper and fabric, as well as ways to use othe materials to embellish your prints. You learn learn a new hobby you can continue at home and take home several final pieces. 3 hours session from £60 pp max group size 4
