I make ‘locality’, environment inspired vessels: each is in response to a specific place. Decorated in underglazes, oxides, engobes and glazes I build layers of colour and texture inspired by the location. Each is unique
I also make Vases inspired by tradition goddesses sculptures and containers crafted by women in the past. each are meant to be a delight to touch and hold
I mainly work in Porcelain, Red and white stoneware. I also havea limited selection in a fine black stoneware. These images are a sample of my vessel pieces.
